Verbs Flashcards: Set 1
vocabulary: walk, run, read, play, sleep, write, talk, listen, jump, drink, eat, open, close
Mark's Note: I teach all the verbs up through set three only in the present continuous. 'What's he doing? / He's jumping.' So, I don't use 'open' or 'close' for target language practice because they require a direct object and become a bit longer as a phrase. So, they don't appear on the bingo cards, but I felt they were good words to know from the start. However, I still teach them in the present continuous: 'He is opening a book.'
You can access all of the verb sets from the main flash card page, from the bottom list, or here:
Set 1, Set 2, Set 3, Can, Set 4, Set 5, Set 6, Set 7, Set 8
