Don't want to print? Try the online flashcards

The MES online flashcard application is an in-browser app that allows full screen display, has audio, and a few vocabulary building games. (This is a great option for online lessons or to save the time and cost of print versions.)

Mark's note: The large flashcards have separate images for 3 of the vocabulary words (surprise, amaze, and excite) so that you can clearly show the difference between 'excited' and 'exciting' for example. The rest of the images aren't separated, but you point to the person and how they were made to feel (past participle - shocked) or point to what is making them feel that way (present participle - shocking.)

Adjectives: present participle options

present participles: amazing, annoying, boring, confusing, damaging, disappointing, embarrassing, exciting, frightening, frustrating, interesting, irritating, shocking, surprising, tiring)

Mark's note: I made these images to teach the past participle forms and didn't plan for them to be separated beyond the 3 mentioned above. So, I don't have different large flashcards. However, I did my best to create options for teaching these as present participles.
