Feelings and Emotions Flashcards
vocabulary: happy, mad, sad, hot, tired, hungry, sick, thirsty, cold, shy, sleepy, in love*
*in love is included because kids love to ask each other and the teacher 'Are you in loo~ove?'
Mark's note: I use these cards as a first introduction to 'Are you ~ ?' and 'I'm ~. / I'm not ~.' Not all on the first day of course. I start with 'Are you ~ ?' and build slowly.
Are you hungry? Yes. (I'm hungry.) / No. (I'm not hungry.)
For more feelings flash cards see my Health Set for conditions such as nauseous, dizzy, good, better, great, etc. or the Adjectives -ed Set for more complex emotions like disappointed, confused, frustrated, annoyed, emabarrassed, and more.
