bags to match possessives

just people

A set of 15 different bags to play games with using possessive pronouns:

bag game cards, bags bingo cards, b/w bingo cards

I pass out one set of cards to all of the students in the group.  These I place face up and tell the students the bags that are in front of them are their bags.  Then, I go through a second set asking 'whose bag is this?' just to make sure we're all on the same page.  (If you have a small group you can use the 'just people cards' as group members and assign bags to them.)

Then I place the second set face down and play bingo.  I have one student draw a card and ask the rest of the group 'Whose bag is this?'  The other students try to guess using possessive pronouns.  Whoever guesses correctly gets to draw the next card.

There are a few other games you can play with the same technique of giving one set to the students and playing a game with a second or third set.
