Post Vocabulary warm up activity

I was just passing by and thought I woulld share a warm up game which I use which generally works well with children, teens and adults.

It is a vocabulary exercise where the aim of the activity is to go through the letters of the alphabet from A to Z. In doing so, the students have to complete four sentences, where the last word must start with the corresponding letter of the alphabet. So you start with A for example:

My name is Amanda
My boyfriend's name is Andrew
We live in Angola
We sell Apples

Hope it works with you :) happy teaching

Hi! That's a good would really help with their vocabulary.

I also use a similar method, however I also integrate vocabulary building so I insert a couple of new words for them every meeting. I also do this in a 'surprise' manner, meaning we make it into a game with unpredictable 'recitation' patterns.
