Post Pass around game/activity idea
Ok I have a new (or maybe not new as I'm sure other teacher do something similar) game/activity for the small flashcards.

Basically you'll need a set of cards for each group. I've made four sets so I break kids up into four groups, however it will work with more or less.

Anyway each student has a flashcard and they pass the card to the left while music is playing or I am singing (strangely they prefer the later. Perhaps because I sing silly songs.) This works for me since I can walk around and don't have to stand by the computer.

Anyway, When I shout "Stop!" they stop passing the cards and I then ask a question, such as "Did you eat soup for lunch?" Any student holding the the soup card shouts out "Yes, I did." and they get a point. Then I ask a few random students who didn't have the corresponding flashcard a question and they answer in the negative. "No, I didn't eat soup for lunch."

As for the points, you can have them just record them on a paper, but I've started using plastic tokens. As other teacher have pointed out the kids seem to like to have something tangible in their hand.

It's pretty versatile and you could use it for any target langauge.

Dare to dream. Dance through life!
