Post Overtime
As a matter of interest, do you end up doing overtime (unpaid)?

on either a regular or from time to timr basis?

I generally don't but I have heard some do

I have my own school, so any teaching hours are paid.

I haven't heard of anyone working over-time without pay, but it seems most contracts list a certain number of teaching hours, 20-25 teaching hours. Do you mean some places are going over that without compensation?

There is a post somewhere in here where someone was talking about teaching almost 40 or over 40 class hours at maybe a kindergarten. The school just kept adding them on but didn't raise the salary or pay overtime.

Build up! Be positive! Teach hard!

If you are counting actual classroom teaching hours, I technically don´t work overtime... If you count the amount of time I spend making lesson plans and materials and preparing for my classes... then we are getting into some serious overtime, lol. I´m sure you all know how that goes...

Some people consider English corners to be overtime unpaid work and fight to get additional payment per hour.
