Post At the Track success
I use the grammar worksheets as a review tool and competition.
Replace the existing sentences with ones from their grammar book. Randomly going through the book and assembling pages. I have finished 6, so far.
After we complete each section in class (there are 3 per sheet), I write the scores on the white board.
I also put together a score sheet so that we can record of all the scores after each page.
After 5 worksheets, I award prizes to the top 5 scorers.
The kids really love to check their progress and see how they measure up to their classmates. In Taiwan, competition is everything.

Thanks again for all of the wonderful materials Mark.

That's great to hear that the review activities have been a success. Have you tried the straight Grammar Casino with them?

I used to use the grammar casino a lot and I got a little bored with it. That's when I came up with the At the Track version. For me it was a little more exciting.

Build up! Be positive! Teach hard!

I haven't tried the Grammar Casino. I'll take a look at it this weekend. It's a group of 12 that enjoys just about every activity I suggest.

The At the Track sheets are awesome because they can be used throughout almost every level of English learning. A little bit of prep work provides a lot of useful practice and fun in the class.

At the Track is great. I have ESL and English speakers in my class. This is something they can have fun with together. Thanks.
