Post ESL and sports
As I'm teaching all the topics to my class (primary school in France), I'm going to use sports to teach some vocabulary and structures (movements, sports vocabulary (referee...), geometry's voc....).

If you have the opportunity to do so, it really works !!! The only difficulty is to switch between mother language and english at the good timing.

It's hard to do with some sports (difficult rules), but it does work with athletism and many team games.

And if youcan't do that, why not playing during your english class: kids learn much better when they are doing the moves at the same time.

i fully agree. movement is great. my kids do funny/simple movements for numbers and they enjoy it so much more. we also stretch and do exercises before class to get them ready to learn and have some energy.

Working Hard. Learning every day. Making it count.
