Post I need to learn some good games for high school students
I was wondering if anyone has some good ideas for games that really relate to high school students in Japan? I currently am a student at Eastern Washington University and I will be teaching English in Japan next year. I am looking for some effective games for high school students. Any ideas? Please share. Thanks.

revrw - It's really hard to give that kind of advice right now. Games and activities vary with content (target language) and ability level. I would suggest reading through some of the games ideas I have posted as well as other sites and just kind of keep them in the back of your mind. When you take on your teaching position and are ready to plan lessons, you'll have some ideas or at least have some idea of where to go back to for ideas.

bogglesworld.com and eslcafe.com also have a lot of really good ideas for that age group.

Happy teaching,
Mark
