Post Mother/Infant class
I am wondering if anyone has taught a mother/infant (up to 18 months old) class. I will be starting a new job soon and would like to know any tips you may have. This class has been created since most daycares don't accept infants under 18 months. Giving the moms the opportunity to bring their babies to English class opens many more doors for them.
Thank you.

Yes, I have done it. Its tuff as at that age its all input for the infant and no output.
So you sort of have to feel where the mothers are at and what they want (how much aimed at the kids and how much at the mothers)
but a few points
you have to keep things short and get them moving and sing songs and play with things
as I say, its hard work as you end up doing a lot of talking
but after a few months (depending on age etc) the kids start talking
thats so cool
