I saw this on Youtube so it is not an original idea but it works very well. I would suggest you look on youtube for "Class Management Class Yes".

Tell your class you will say the work "Class" and they are to respond with "Yes".
Then, practice it a few times.
You: "Class?"
Students: "Yes?"
You: "Class?"
Students: "Yes?"
You: "Classity Class Class?"
Students: "Yessity Yess Yes!"
Try different volume and tone inflections.
Tell the students that they must stop what they are doing, and have their eyes on you when you say "Class".
If you get a lackluster response. Stay silent. Then firmly, loudly say "Class!"
You will get their attention and silence.
You can also use this to check understanding.
You: So, Verbs describe Action.... Class?
Students: Yes!
You: What do Verbs do?

I hope this helps! :D

I use this one when my pupils are so noisy:

I say: EO EO
Pupils say: OE
I say( in a lower voice) : EO EO
Pupils say: OE
I say(Lower again): EO EO
Pupils say: OE, OE, OE

This time all pupils must be on silent
It is specially good when you are in a big place (like the playground) and you want to have your pupils attention without shouting

I also know a teacher that says "Hocus Pocus" and the class replies "Everybody Focus"
