Story telling with some puppets would be amazing for a 5 year old girl, or just use some dolls.
Basically, you can make a simple story using the dolls/puppets as characters and include in the story some dialog between the dolls/puppets. In the story, part of it should involve the characters meeting each other at different times of the day and having to greet each other (Good morning, afternoon, etc).
You'll have to introduce the story to her first of all, and it doesn't need to be too long, but she'll enjoy it. All kids like this kind of stuff. Then you can ask her to help you perform the story by taking one of the puppets. Do this a few times until just before she's get bored by it, or she has got the language down.
Then you can use these characters in the future too to bring in new language structures.
