I like your ideas of having textbooks to teach subjects!
For the most part I think you have done a fantastic job.
Just a few comments for those who will use them with
elementary children.
I think that students in Japan don't learn square roots or
chemistry H2O until at least junior high. Perhaps
a simpler representation would make it clearer to
younger students.
Also for Japanese and Spanish and French, students
may mix this for a social studies class.

HOwever, I haven't actually used them in class so I can't say
for sure whether any of these differences cause confusion.

I had a feeling that the lack of response on the subjects was because people weren't that excited about them.

I will admit, they could be better, but I like them though They're much, much better than the old ones, IMO. Maybe that's why I like them.

In the end people might like them. I have a reason for all of the foreign languages. I use them to practice the present perfect and I have a game coming together that will use them.

"I have studied English for 3 years."
"How long have you studied French?"

They are designed for the teacher to use the large flashcards for introduction. The large flashcards are different from the handout and small cards. They have a lot more to the picture that will help younger students associate the book to the subject. If they see the large flashcard then they shouldn't be confused.

Aha, I see what you are saying. The large flashcards are much clearer. I think they are fantastic. They are the best subject cards I've seen yet! My guess is that subjects in general are harder to teach. At least for Japanese students there are fewer cognates and the words are hard for students to remember. When I do teach subjects though, I will definitely use your cards!

Splendid job, as you usually do. The new topics are great and I found the nationatities set very funny. I wonder if you could get a Portuguese 3D in your future work; it would be great.
I also find your awards splendid, but I can't use them, they won't print all right; may be it's my fault.
I thought you could use the same pictures and make a kind of bookmarks, mainly with pictures related with some special days. I frequently offer many to my students and they are always asking for more.
