Post comic strip maker or dialog maker
I've started work on a comic strip maker or dialog worksheet maker

Image

Ideally, it will allow you to make short dialogs for students to read and practice. Right now there is just one combination of a boy and a girl with 6 exchanges
    A:
    B:
    A:
    B:
    A:
    B:

I'm hoping to have an option of 8 exchanges as well.

There will be a few option for conversation participants
    boy - girl
    girl - boy
    2 girls - 1 boy
    1 girl - 2 boys
    2 girls - 2 boys
    2 girls - 2 girsl
    2 boys - 2 boys

It has 3 font size options (in comic sans.) A large font for single sentences. A medium font for 1-2 sentences per turn. A small font for longer 3-4 sentence turns. The text can be moved around so that you can center it in the speech bubble.

Anyway, if you have a moment, please check it out and give me your thoughts on what options I should add, what needs to be changed, what you like about it, anything :)

Also, where should this go on the site? worksheets? talking worksheets? grammar introduction worksheets? new category? forum and FaceBook secret?

There are now 4 options for characters:
    boy-girl
    girl-boy
    girl-girl
    boy-boy

I have also added a feature at the top right where you can select your paper size, Letter or A4. The default is Letter. Either will work fine but if you print the letter format on A4, you'll end up with a little dead space at the bottom. Try the opposite and the bottom footer gets cut off.

If you use it or just test it out, let me know what you think.

I tried it a few days ago and was impressed. Did a small test dialogue with the first boy/girl but when I tried other options it printed the dialogue and no pics. Could be just my settings, but not sure.

There was an error in the programming with the comic strip maker. Something about changing the font size meant that when you printed the worksheet the characters would disappear.

It took me a little while to find the problem, but I think I got it. I fixed it and added a few more character options.
