 Living room flashcards suggestion
I am working with students from all ages, but I mostly enjoy working with children, and mainly they are beginners. And one of the rules in my school is that the teachers have to speak English all the time, even if the children don’t understand me, so I jump and I mime and I draw on the board or show them pictures all the time, until they get the idea. And this is working. They raise their hands and that is the sign that they don’t understand something, and I try to explain. I use L1 only when it is extremely necessary.
So the suggestion is about flash cards. They are useful but you don’t have living/sitting room flashcards. There are ones for bathroom and bed room.
In the living room flashcards you could put: sofa, armchair, table, TV, curtains, cushions, rug/carpet, bookshelf, picture, heater, hanging lamp/ chandelier, radio…

I'll see what I can do about a living room set.
I've also be thinking about an home appliance set.

I totally agree! I'm in dire need of an armchair!!! I always come here first and was actually very surprised you didn't have living room flashcards. I think it's the first time I haven't found what I was looking for. You must be really busy.

Ok, just about a year later there is now a living room flashcard set, with an armchair!
