Motivating your class, or as
SchoolToolTV likes to call it your team, to be better prepared, happier, healthier, more positive and friendlier is only a click away. SchoolToolTV (
http://schooltoolstv.com) is a daily, one minute behavior education web cast that gives students real tools for developing healthy habits like motivation, teamwork, positive thinking, good friends and good choices.
Young people have grown up looking at screens for information about the
world around them. SchoolToolsTV uses the their technology to bring them life lessons that are critical to long-term success like being able to
motivate themselves, work on a team, lead a healthy life, think positively
and to surround themselves with friends who support them in making good choices.
There are many character education curriculums out there and they all offer different ways to bring these life skills to your classroom. What’s unique about SchoolToolsTV is that we do the work for you in a fun and interactive way that takes only a minute a day. Imagine starting each school day talking about things like how to make a good friend, how to stay motivated in the classroom, how to be a team player, or how to keep your self-esteem high instead of spending precious time trying to get your class focused and ready to learn.
SchoolToolsTV will help create a common language for success in and out of the classroom and all you have to do is turn it on. Each day of the week is focused on a different topic like: Motivation Monday; Teamwork Tuesday, Wellness Wednesday, Thoughtful Thursday and Friendship Friday. Each week we focus on a new Bully Byte and Manners Motto to motivate students to stand up for themselves and communicate in a positive, assertive and polite way whichis key to solving problems.
SchoolToolsTV was created to meet the school wide component of the RTI behavioral modification pyramid. Issues like manners, bullying, communication, problem solving, exercise, resiliency, respect, safety and self-discovery have never been so fun or easy to incorporate into your busy schedule. Please check out the show which is located on the “VIDEO” page at
http://schooltoolstv.com and show it to your class. It won’t be long before they’ll be asking for it and your team will have a fresh new way to start each day.
