crossword maker with images or text as hints!
I just uploaded the newest addition to the worksheet makers. A crossword generator from Tools for Educators.com.
Take a look and let me know what you think. I'll be the first to say it could be a little more polished but hopefully it will be helpful. Also, I believe it's the only crossword maker out there that allows you to enter images for the hints!

Awesome.
I had hoped you were going to do this and I thought I'd read somewhere that you were wokring on it.
A few of the sets of flashcards had crosswords for them, but I wanted to use more.
I feel you have a enough on your plate so I didn't inquire.
It's even better because yesterday I printed out some crosswords without hints from another site and I was going to cut and paste them up today using mes-images.
Once again, Awesome!

Cool! I've been working on these since July, but it seems like forever. I hope they work out well for everyone and the students enjoy them.
I just added the 'super makers' for the crossword maker and word search maker.
Let me know what you think or if you have any problems.

Kiwione - Thanks! I hope the makers are helpful.
I was working on those for almost 3 months. I was so excited! I put them up on the site and there's been almost nothing said about them
But, maybe that means they are working fine and everyone is happy with them
Or nobody knows about them yet

This crossword maker is truly brilliant - so easy to use. I've always found that students love crosswords, especially kids.
I think all the stuff on Tools for Educators is amazingly useful. As teachers we often have ideas for worksheets, puzzles etc. that would go down well with our students, but realising them would be too difficult and/or time consuming. The tools here make it possible for teachers to unlock their creativity quickly and easily. That's obviously good for the students, and also good for teachers as using your own materials can make teaching more rewarding, and can help you develop your skills.

My kids go nuts about these. I get them to do it in teams and they are all scrambling to find everything before the other team does.
Awesome stuff. Thanks.

 Awesome
I cannot even tell you how much I love those tools. They are all wonderful! We have a teacher who always likes to give her students wordsearches, and frankly, I didn't see that they did much for the students. But with picture hints, they actually need to remember the word. That's much better. I use all of the tools, but the vocab tools are probably my faves.
Thank you so much for all your hard work.

Kids and adults love the crosswords!!
I find that crosswords appeal to all my students, adults, teens and kids.
They're always asking for them!!
I love everything on the Tools for Educators site.
It's made prepartion for the different groups much easier
and more fun for them and me.

 Great site!
I just discovered this extensive website today! There are all kinds of great pages to make games. I love that they have several clip arts already to choose from to make your own boards. Saves me a ton of time!

Re: word search maker with images or text as hints!
Great site but there are a few bugs. The word search maker doesn't display the picture hints when using Opera or Chrome. I tired it with Daily Routines and I have had this problem with other lists too.
Also, it would be great if you could make the images available as flashcards so that we can pre-teach the vocabulary.
Thanks

Re: crossword maker with images or text as hints!
There is some problem with the crossword maker with images...It comes out blank every time. I tried it with different categories to make sure that the problem is not only with "animal" category...it wouldn't work with others as well. I promised my students the crossword for the next class, and I would hate to disappoint them . Please, help
