 It's no secret that

ESL

young learners as well as adults respond well to

games

.  In this light I have created 7

printable card sets

,  6

printable board games

  and 7 more

printable games

that will provide fun for students that ESL English teachers as well will enjoy.  Not to mention variety! These are

speaking games

for the most part. The games were designed around the principle that if the game is just a

grammar game

, the students will bore quickly.  Thus, the goals of these games are not "perfect English wins the game," but the students must use English in the target language to accomplish their goal and win the game.  In doing so you'll be surprised how many times they use the language and hopefully perfect/internalize it through repetition.  See each game's page for more detailed information.
