Hi imangel01,

Maybe you could use the 'Hobbies' flashcards of mes?

You'd need something where one student offers a suggestion and another student accepts or declines.

I'd probably use the CrissCross Bingo Game. That link has the game explanation.

- I'd make bingo boards using the "super maker" that has all of the vocabulary. I'd make the boards with some weather vocabulary and some outdoor activities, maybe sports.

- In class one student draws a weather flashcard and the next student would draw a sports card.

- The first student might say, "I'm bored. Let's do something."

- The second student would then offer the suggestion they just drew, "How about going fishing?"

- The first student would accept the offer if he drew a good weather card, "That's a great idea! It's a perfect day (for fishing.)" or reject the offer if it's a bad weather card. "That's a good idea, but it's raining." ** and even give another option "How about going bowling?"

- Then as the game part, students would look on their boards and mark the square where perfect card and the fishing card intersect.

You could create problem cards like "I had a fight with my friend" and have the student mingle and come up with replies. For example, "How about saying you are sorry?"

Or you could make reply cards too and play a matching game, or concentration (memory)
