Post My favorite games and activites websites for the classroom
Hi,

Mark's games page http://www.mes-english.com/games.php and this forum have become my new favorite site for selecting games and activities inside the classroom.

Here are some additional sites that I frequent.

http://iteslj.org/games/

http://www.eslflow.com/games1.html

http://www.teachenglishinasia.net/tefl-tesl-games-and-activities-directory

http://www.eatyourkimchi.com/esl_resources/

http://www.eslcafe.com/ideas/

What are your favorites? :)

I'm glad they've been helpful.

I've used the idea's cookbook over at eslCafe quite a few years back.

However, I pretty much just hang out here these days :)

I've recently gotten to a point where I can't remember all the games and possibilities. I think I'm going to have to make an index for my own sake :P I go on little tears playing the new fun game and then drop it for a while only to remember how useful it is and how much the students enjoy it.

The most recent to come back into my classroom are Zap, CrissCross Bingo, and Get 4.

I know that doesn't answer your question, but I've been so busy with MES that I hardly surf ESL sites these days.

Mark's are by far my favorite, especially for elementary school ages.

Edo-chan's "Three Wise Monkeys" found at

http://www.edochan.com/teaching/monkeys.htm

is worth looking into, especially for games for older kids. Edo-chan doesn' t have a lot of interesting resources, but does have some worth while ideas and games.
