I recently uploaded the Bunny Land Game with the Easter set.

Here's how I use the game:

You will need the following items for each group:
one copy of the game board (which must be in color)
one set of cards (I print and make 3 copies of the cards as one set)
a marker for each student

the game:

1. students place their markers at the start point and the first player draws a game card.
(before drawing a card insert your ESL/teaching task. once completed, allow the student to draw a game card.)

2. the students move their marker to the next egg that matches the color on their game card
(if their are 2 bunnies, the student moves to the second egg that matches their game card.)

3. the first player to reach the Easter Bunny's house is the winner. (if there are no colored eggs to match the game card, the player should advance to the Easter Bunny's house.)

4. award players appropriately

New for 2007 is a better version of the board:
the bunny land game with jumps.

There are some extra bunnies to add to your cards. A spotty bunny, swirly bunny, rainbow bunny and so on. When a player draws those cards, the player will advance up or down the board to the matching Easter egg.

It's a lot of fun to play this way, since it gives everyone hope that at each turn things can dramatically change. And, it adds a little fear for the winning players each time they draw a card.

I hope you like the new version, but I left the first version up, just in case.

Love the 2007 version of the bunny game. Will test run it tomorrow.

Tried the new version today. My kid loved it. I work one on one and he was just waiting for one of the 'jump' cards so he could go ahead and wishing for me to be sent back!

I'm glad it worked out for you.

Before I always had kids who gave up 2/3 of the way through the game, knowing they'd never catch up. Like you said it keeps people in the game. There's always a chance for them to win or lose with each turn.

I'm not sure if I have some kind of problem with my eyes, but I count only seven different colored eggs, while there are eight different colored bunnies. Where are the eggs that have the same color as the bunny standing at the start?

In the first grouping that peach colored egg isn't present but after that you should find it.

Look between the brown eggs and there are 8 different colored eggs.

I see now that only the original board has peach colored eggs. I was looking at the jump board version. So I don't have to visit the eye doctor. Thanks.
